Our staff web developer, Nicole Furlan, will be running the 3rd Annual West Island 5K to raise money for Compassion Over Killing. This is only one out of nine races that she is running to help advocate advocate for the 9 billion farmed animals who are raised and killed for food each year in the US — and her goal is to raise a total of $9,000 before she turns 29 on Sept. 16!
