All-Vegan Bakesale Benefit in Los Angeles

Locali Conscious Convenience | 5825 Franklin Ave Los Angeles 90068 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In honor of US VegWeek and the World-Wide Vegan Bakesale, Compassion Over Killing staff and volunteers will be offering homemade vegan cupcakes, cookies, brownies, muffins and more at Locali Conscious Convenience in Hollywood.

We’ll also be distributing pro-veg literature about the many benefits of choosing animal-friendly foods. We need volunteers to donate delicious vegan goodies and help table at this event. Come by to help out and satisfy your sweet tooth—while saving animals at the same time!

Lured by tales of weight lost and health regained, they begin to uncover the hidden sides of animal agriculture that make them wonder whether solutions offered in films like Food, Inc. go far enough.

Plus, stick around after the movie for a Q&A with Humane Educator, James Wildman from the Animal Rights Foundation of Florida.

In honor of US VegWeek and the World-Wide Vegan Bake Sale, Compassion Over Killing staff and volunteers will be offering homemade vegan cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more during the Takoma Park Farmer’s Market.

Volunteer bakers will also be distributing literature about the many benefits of choosing animal friendly foods.

Have an irresistible vegan recipe? Volunteers are needed to donate delicious vegan baked goods and help table at the event- and don’t forget to stop by to satisfy your sweet tooth and help animals at the same time!

World Wide Vegan Bakesale in Austin

The Vegetarian Network of Austin, Austin Action for Animals, Vegans Rock Austin, Capital City Bakery, and Zico present the VegWeek Edition of the World Wide Vegan Bakesale. Grab some delicious baked goods and lunch at The Vegan Nom, a new vegan trailer that will be holding its grand opening next door.

Specialty Vegan Prix Fixe Benefit Dinner at Ezme

Ezme will be offering a four-course vegan prix fixe menu all week, with 5% of the proceeds going to Compassion Over Killing’s work for farmed animals. $35, plus tax and tip.

A variety of vegan wines are available at Ezme, or for a corkage fee of $15, guests can bring their own wine. On Monday night all bottles of wine will be 1/2 off.

Bloombars Presents: Planeat (with Vegan Snacks!)
