Forks Over Knives Screening at Great Sage

Forks Over Knives examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. The idea of food as medicine is put to the test.

Join Roots Market for a screening of this deeply-impacting film. Admission is $10, and you will receive a $5 Conscious Corner gift card at the screening.

After the film, there will be an optional Q&A discussion featuring Columbia Certified Health Coach Sharon McRae and Dr. Joseph Adams, a Baltimore-based doctor who promotes a whole foods, plant-based diet. Refreshments will be provided.

Ezme will be offering a four-course vegan prix fixe menu all week, with 5% of the proceeds going to Compassion Over Killing’s work for farmed animals. $35, plus tax and tip.

A variety of vegan wines are available at Ezme, or for a corkage fee of $15, guests can bring their own wine. On Monday night all bottles of wine will be 1/2 off.
